The Year of Grace is the Year of
Growth
The calendar year is ending and we are
fast approaching the season of renewal. This is a
time in which it is good to reflect on the year that has
past and what we have achieved, the challenges we have
faced and resolved, and what is next on the Universe's
agenda. As this time occurs slightly more than
half way through the spiritual year (which begins and
ends with Wesak in May) it is a particularly good time
to reflect on the progress of the changes that each
spiritual year brings, and how we are flowing with that.
The last newsletter was about Grace, and
focused on its effects in our lives, and especially what
it was to live in both the physical and the spiritual
simultaneously, seeing them both as a continual,
seamless reality, rather than separating them into
easily digestible packages. It can give us a wider
perspective on ourselves, and who We Truly Are, and
challenge us to have a more complete relationship with
all of our aspects, as well as all that makes up the
boundless creation in which we exist.
Being somewhat more than halfway through
the Year of Grace means that hopefully many of us are now
beginning to come into some sort of mastery, or at least
of competence, with the lessons of this year. So
perhaps it is time to review something of what those
lessons are.
Although the energy will effect each of us
differently there are many lessons that we have all
experienced in common. Perhaps the 'most common' of
these experiences is the effect of Grace, which is being
able to be in both worlds at once; that is, to be
consciously connected to the physical and the metaphysical
or spiritual simultaneously. One of the most
profound effects of this is an increased ability to
integrate learning and the significances of the
experiences of our lives, and to also accept those
experiences as they come to us. Another major lesson
that Grace brings with it is that of compassion.
For many years I thought of compassion as
a spiritual 'nicety', something that was nice, if you were
enlightened enough to spare the energy for it, but hardly
essential. My view about compassion has completely
changed over the last few years and now I would say that
it is a spiritual necessity. One of the challenges
for all of us in being in both worlds at once is
perceiving both who a Person Truly Is, and also who they
are choosing to be right now. Who the Person Truly
Is is a spark of the divine, a truly inspirational
presence filled with courage, love, truth, wisdom,
foresight, strength, power, and beauty; we are all this,
each of us with our own particular essence, or quality.
Yet all too often we choose to be less than this, to
accept the limitations of the human side of our nature and
think that is the limit of our Beingness. When we do
so we can all too often become something that is a
destructive force in our lives, rather than a constructive
one. Someone who is in touch with Grace, someone who
is in touch simultaneously with both sides of their
nature, their god-self and their human-self, can see both
sides of our nature. How, then, do they reconcile
the two? How do we perceive the god-self without
developing some kind of Pollyanna attitude? Or how
do we perceive the human-self without becoming bitter and
cynical about life? It is compassion that enables us
to reconcile these two different sides of the nature of
things. Through compassion we are able to perceive
the god in all of us, including ourselves, while
understanding that sometimes god makes choices that are
less than inspired.
It is the nature of Grace to teach us how
to be with both who we are right now, and also with who We
Truly Are, so that we may grow from one towards the other.
This is not always an easy thing, but it is always a
fulfilling thing. I trust your lessons in this year
have assisted you towards becoming who You Truly Are.
And that you and yours will have a blessed time during
this Season of Renewal.
Many blessings, Catherine Wilkins

Wesak
Report: Revisiting the Blue Mountains sites,
six months on
Recently I revisited the sites
we were working with during Wesak of this year,
the Year of Grace. It was interesting to
note the changes and the effects of the work that
we did during that special time.
The energy around the pools at
the base of Wentworth Falls is very strong, and it
is possible to feel the connection running through
to Avebury in England. However, the portal
was closed while I was there, possibly because of
the number of people who were about.
The energy of the cave in the
Grand Canyon was very interesting. This
place was connected with what we did through to
other planes of existence, as well as to Avebury.
There were people here also, but the interesting
thing here was that the portal was still open, but
only one way. It had become like a one-way
window; those on the other side could see through
to here but those here, unless their awareness was
high, would not be able to perceive through the
portal. It was a very interesting, and
stable, connection.
Of course, one of the most
interesting effects of this year's Wesak was
the invitation to visit Vera Falls. Read
more about that in the Vera Falls article, on the
right.

FRACTOLOGY and SO-CALLED 'NEGATIVE' EMOTIONS
This might seem like an odd topic but it is an
important one. There are some thoughts that
some emotions are 'negative'. They are often
called mis-emotions as if having them is somehow a
symptom of dis-ease.
Yet it is a principle of Fractology, and
non-dualism, that everything serves, and that
includes these so-called negative emotions.
And, as the Season of Renewal is apt to bring out
these emotions at times, it seems an appropriate
time to speak of this.
Each of our emotions, negative or positive, are
simply a message from our subconscious to our
conscious self as to what is going on for us in that
moment. Each one is there to give us further
information as to how to appropriately deal with the
present moment.
So let's consider some of these emotions.
Fear is one we often avoid, yet it can be our
greatest teacher. It exists at the edge of our
comfort zone. The saying is 'fools rush in
where angels fear to tread', not 'fools rush in
where angels refuse to tread'. Fear is not
there to tell us to stop, but rather to tell us to
proceed with caution. It is telling us we are
in unknown waters and so need to slow down because
that way we will make fewer mistakes. When we
make a friend of our fear we never need to wonder
what our next step is. All we need to ask
ourselves is, 'what do I fear most'? and then
we'll know.
Anger is an important emotion. It tells us
that we are not getting what we want. Which is
why it is so powerful. There is far more
energy in anger than there is in fear, so when we
get angry enough we no longer allow our fear to stop
us from going out there and doing whatever it is we
need to create what we want.
Resentment is a particularly important form of
anger. This is one that, like anger, we tend
to suppress because it is not 'nice'. Yet
without our anger we are unable to maintain our
boundaries, and one important boundary is that of
exchange. Would you like a recipe for
resentment? Give far more than you are likely
to receive back and you will very soon feel
resentful. Our willingness to acknowledge our
resentment is a very important tool for our
relationships. When we don't acknowledge it,
when we 'stuff it down' and attempt to carry on as
though we are not resentful we continue to give when
we are already out of exchange, a sure recipe for
creating greater and greater levels of resentment.
When we acknowledge it, it allows us to stop giving,
to let go for a while and enable the other person to
give for a bit. This reduces our resentment,
while it enables the other person to experience
their own value in the form of giving to another.
It keeps our relationships balanced, with a free
flow of exchange.
All emotions are like this if we are willing to
understand them instead of making them feel wrong.
We tend to do that with the emotions that make us
feel the most uncomfortable, and yet they are often
the very emotions which have the strongest message
for us.
If you would like more information about how to
understand and work with your emotions in this
way, please contact your nearest Fractologist.

COMMUNICATION If you would like to have your
dream interpreted in our newsletter please send it
to us at
dreams@fractology.info
I was speaking to someone about what was needed to
complete a job, but they just kept asking me
questions that I couldn't answer so I was attempting
to call someone who could give me the answers but my
mobile phone kept breaking apart. No matter
how I picked up the pieces and put them back
together, as soon as I went to use it, some new part
would break or fall off it.
MS
This is a dream
about support. Work, like getting a job done,
represents our purpose in life. And the person
who is supposed to be assisting you does not have
the skill to do it. The phone represents
communication. This dream is telling you that
there is a break in your communication with yourself
such that it is making it harder to receive support.
We all need support
but sometimes we don't know how to create it, and
when we do we sometimes don't know how to receive
it. Consider which of these two may be where
you need to focus on and begin working on asking for
more support from the Universe. Support is
like anything else. If we don't ask for it we
won't receive it.
Remember to ask for
it specifically as this may be the difficulty with
your communication. How and when do you want
to be supported?

Ritual for The Season
of Renewal
Now is
the Season of Renewal that comes around once a year.
The time between Christmas and New Year's each year
is energetically very interesting as it is a rather
'blank' time. By that I mean that most people
have their thoughts focused on family and other
concerns so that it is a time when there are, within
the collective consciousness, very few intentions
competing for energy. Thus it is a time which
is ideally suited for the examination of our own
intentions.
This
is what I use this time of year for. At some
point during this 'blank' period, I find the time to
examine my intentions for the past year and review
them. Which ones succeeded? And how can
I celebrate that? And how can I continue to
foster their growth in the coming year?
And
which of my intentions did not succeed? Why
not? Do they simply need more time, more
energy to grow to fruition? Or do they need to
be re-formatted in some way? Perhaps they are
not as aligned with my true integrity, my true
Beingness or essence, as I thought? If so,
then how can I realign them so they are? If
they are in alignment, is there something else that
is needed?
When I
am clear on my intentions, and which I need to
acknowledge and release, and which I need to
acknowledge and keep or adjust, then I am ready for
my ritual of cleansing and release.
This
is a simple ritual, but you may dress it up in
whatever way feels appropriate to you.
Get a
piece of paper and tear in in half top to bottom.
This will give you a left-hand piece of paper, which
represents the past, and a right-hand piece of
paper, which represents the future.
On the
left-hand piece write your old intentions,
especially those you wish to release.
On the
right-hand piece write your new intentions,
especially those that will be significant to you in
the new year.
When
you are ready, burn the left-hand piece. Thus
you will be releasing your old intentions to make
way for the new.
In
acknowledgement to your old intentions and how they
have served you, do something to celebrate what they
have achieved for you. For example, place
those things that acknowledge your accomplishments
on display. They may simply be something you
bought yourself as a reward for your accomplishment,
or a photo or certificate. In the spirit of
celebration of this time, you may wish to toast
yourself or buy yourself a present in recognition.
Whatever it is, let yourself celebrate yourself now.
Then,
when you are done, burn the right-hand piece.
Thus you will be releasing into the clear energy of
this time your new intentions for the new year.
Enjoy
yourself as you continue to journey on into the
coming time!

VERA FALLS
There are many beautiful areas within the Blue
Mountains, as those of us who were present for this
year's Wesak can testify. There is one in
particular that I have often thought of visiting
but, somehow, it never felt appropriate.
However, just recently, that changed. It felt
not only appropriate, but necessary, that I visit
Vera Falls, and having done so I appreciated why it
was a place that was appropriate to visit only when
the energy of the place invited me to do so.
I have no doubt that the recent invitation to visit
Vera Falls is a direct result of the excellent work
we were able to accomplish during this year's Wesak.
One of the participants shared at one point that the
way we were working with the land at that time was
in a way that had not been done for some time, and
the land was grateful. Doors open with that
kind of gratitude. In this case, the door to
Vera Falls.
The track to Vera Falls is an 'historical track'.
This means that it is not maintained by the National
Parks and Wildlife Service, although the track is
still there and can be followed, although it gets a
bit tricky in spots. This is many ways is a
good thing as it protects the Falls as they are not
so frequently visited by casual visitors. The
energy of the site is kept cleaner and relatively
undisturbed as a consequence.
But perhaps it would be best if I shared with
you my experience of my visit to Vera Falls.
I had meant to go the previous day with a
bushwalking group, which would have visited the
bottom of the Falls, but that was cancelled.
So the next day I set out to go for a walk myself.
I set out down the Valley of the Waters, thinking to
simply visit Wentworth Falls again, as I was not
sure that I could follow the track without someone
who knew it. However, when I came to the
branching of the track I turned onto the way towards
Vera Falls. There were a number of false
turns, but somehow, each time when I thought it
might be better to turn back, the way would open up
again and I kept going.
It is part of the
mythic tradition that the journeyer meets a guide at
a crucial juncture. My guide turned out to be
a young couple who were the only other people I met
during the whole day. They were sitting,
resting, beside a creek where the path lost itself
in a particularly convincing way. I stopped
and asked them how much further it was to the Falls,
and they kindly gave me the information I needed, as
well as warnings about the difficulties I would
face, such as the point where the path disappears
entirely because a big tree had fallen over the path
and it is a fair scramble to get around it.
They also told me of the dividing of the path, where
it came to a true T intersection, and that the right
hand path was the way to the top of the Falls.
The left hand path goes to the bottom, which is
where they had been, but I knew when they said it
that my path was that which lead to the top.
Without my guides I do not think I would have made
it to the Falls. I probably would have turned back
when I got to the tree. In such ways do the
Old Ones often guard their secret places.
So I passed the tree,
and the various other obstacles, and came to the top
of Vera Falls. The whole track is, for me, the
most singularly beautiful place within the Blue
Mountains it has ever been my pleasure to visit.
But when I came to the top of the Falls themselves I
had no words. Nor, at the time, any thoughts.
I have been to places
where there is strong Aboriginal energy. I
have visited sites where the evidence of their
culture is strong. Indeed, up on Kings
Tableland, not far from Wentworth Falls, there are
areas of major archaeological importance. It
is an area significant to the Darug, Wiradjuri and
Gundungarra people. Used as a gathering place
for at least 14 000 years, it is a highly
significant area. I had even been to areas
which had similar energy to this one, which is
clearly the energy of a birthing place. Such a
place, which is a place of intense feminine power,
is used not only for actual physical births, but is
also a place for the beginning of things.
Morialta Falls on the edge of Adelaide, in South
Australia, where I lived for a number of years, is a
place with similar energy and a place which was
connected to the beginning of a number of things in
my own life. So I was familiar with such
energy. But in my experience none of these
places was quite like Vera Falls.
In Vera Falls the Old
Ones, the spirits of the land, are still very much
present. And active.
I was instructed to
walk up the creek to where the intense energy of the
site started. There are a string of pools
there and the last one I came to is filled by a
short waterfall. I was told to sit down in the
water and immerse myself. Well, it was a
bright, warm day but the water was cold so I didn't
feel like it. I questioned such a thing,
particularly as I was wearing denim shorts which
would not dry easily. However, the Old Ones
had clearly a strong intention about it because the
next thing I knew I was sitting in the water anyway.
And at that moment there was a crack of thunder and
it started raining. So I got soaked
completely.
The next part of the
ritual involved following the flow down through the
various pools to where it passed over the edge and
out into the world. It rained all the way
through this and, when I reached the edge and the
completion of the ritual, the rain stopped.
Sometimes my life gets
a little wyrd. (Yes, that is the correct
spelling. It is the old Anglo-Saxon word for
anything other worldly - from which we get our own
word of 'weird'.)
The energy there is
powerful. It is about powerful beginnings.
The beginning of new paths, of new life, of new
manifestations, of new ways of being in the world.
I have also been
invited to extend an invitation to those who feel
drawn to accompany me. On the last Sunday
before Christmas I am going to take a group on a
guided walk to Vera Falls.
We will be leaving
early-ish in the morning and it will take most of
the day. You will need to wear shoes with a
good grip, as well as ones that you can walk in the
creek with. (You may wish to put sandals into
your pack.) You will need to bring your lunch
as well as something to get wet in. That
means, either wear something that will dry easily or
bring a change of clothes with you. Remember
that carrying wet clothes back will be heavy,
however. There will be a charge of $120 for
the day.
The walk is mostly all
down, which means the return is mostly all up, and
there are a number of tricky spots. If
you feel drawn to come, I would love to have you
with me. However, I will need to speak to you
about your ability to cope with the trail.
With luck, we will be finished and back in time to
have a coffee together at the Conservation Hut which
is at the beginning of the trail.

Transforming the
Planet's Consciousness
One of the
primary lessons this Year of Grace has brought into
immediate focus for many of us is just what it takes
to transform the Collective Consciousness of this
planet.
Currently the
Collective Consciousness is very codependent.
That is, it is constructed around a dominator -
control hierarchy where the constant struggle or
effort is to control others, or be controlled.
More specifically this plays out in the triangle of
roles we often find ourselves falling into in
relationships, whether they are at work, in our
intimate relationships or friendships, or, most
commonly, with our families. The three roles
that make up this triangle are those of the rescuer,
persecutor and victim.
Very briefly, the
persecutor takes energy, in one form or another, off
the victim, then the rescuer takes it off the
persecutor and gives it back to the victim.
Understanding this codependent cycle is essential if
we are to understand that the rescuer is as much a
part of the problem as the persecutor.
Certainly, we are often confused initially because
it seems that the rescuer is assisting the victim,
but when we examine it more closely we begin to
learn how the rescuer is constantly propping the
victim back up again for the rescuer to take down
once more. A rescuer does not teach the victim
how NOT to be a victim (that is true help) but is
simply making them more comfortable in their
victimhood.
The constant
struggle of the codependent consciousness is to
either (victim) avoid responsibility by manipulating
someone else to be responsible for them, that is,
make their decisions for them; while the struggle
between the rescuer and the persecutor is over who
gets to control the victim. This leads us to
the golden rule of codependency: if you do not
wish to be codependent, never make a decision for
someone else and never allow another to make a
decision for you.
This, of course,
does not mean you can't take advice. But
remember, the beauty of advice is that you do NOT
have to take it. It has to remain YOUR choice.
When we consider
our social structures we begin to perceive how all
of them have been constructed along codependent
lines. Our legal system is not about teaching
the victim how to be stronger, but about deciding
who was the persecutor. Our modern medical
system is focused on the doctor taking
responsibility for our health. Our education
system is doing its best to make teachers more and
more responsible for the learning, and sometimes
even the intelligence, of their students. Many
of our social welfare systems are about
redistributing control of 'at risk' children rather
than focusing on the causes that create the risk in
the situation, such as by assisting with parent
education. And the list goes on.
All of us have
been thoroughly conditioned by our upbringing to be
codependent. While codependency is a normal
stage of development, it becomes problematic when we
become stalled in that stage and do not grow beyond
it. Think of a child whose parents exert so
much control over them that they never grow beyond
that control, and remain unable to make a decision
for themselves, even well into their adult years.
This is currently what our collective consciousness,
and our society, is like.
It's time we grew
up, grew out of codependency and developed a more
interdependent society.
For this to
happen the energy of the collective consciousness
needs to transform into one that is no longer
codependent, but is interdependent. We need
the collective consciousness itself to transform.
While this is
greatly assisted, clearly by all of those brave
souls who have the courage to live by their own
integrity, to live in the fullness of their
authenticity and so become more independent, and
begin to move towards interdependency, something
more is needed.
Interdependency
takes a conscious choice, as well as many live
skills, to achieve. It is not something that
any of us will fall into by simply 'going with the
flow'. Going with the flow is a passive state,
it requires that we cooperate with life and allow
and accept what is happening to us and to the world
to proceed uninterrupted. While this can often
be beneficial it is only beneficial when the
flow is going in the direction we require for our
life purpose.
When the flow of
life is not going in the direction we require then
we need to do something more. If not, we are
allowing ourselves to become the victim of the flow
of life, allowing it to make our choices for us.
Which means we are still being codependent.
Certainly
cooperation is a powerful element of
interdependency, but it is not cooperation at all
costs. It is cooperation that benefits us, and
assists us to achieve our intentions, directly or
indirectly. For it to work it means we have to
first make our choice as to what our intentions are.
There is something all of us came here to do,
whether we remember it consciously or not. And
whatever it is, it is something that we alone, in
all the world, can do. It is a job that will
take our unique energy and perspective and
experiences and viewpoint to get done. It is a
job that only we can do so that if we do not do it,
it will remain undone. And hence the future of
the Universe will be different to what it could be.
So it is not an exaggeration to say that the future
of the Universe depends upon us.
Yet we cannot achieve what it is we came here to do
without first choosing to do it. Often what we
came to do was, clearly, something that is not
already being done. This is why it requires
our conscious intention and focus. It requires
that we put in the energy necessary to lift the
resonance about us to accomplish what we are about.
This is not something that the flow always goes
towards - if it did then perhaps we would not have
to do what it is we came to do. Yet we do.
It
is by holding to our intentions, by making choices
for ourselves and working towards them even when the
challenges come, that we move away from our own
codependencies. And, incidentally, assist to
transform the collective consciousness. For we
are a member of that collective.

Personal Integrity
and the Soul Seat
The Soul Seat
is the centre of our
connection to our Perfected Self, the Seat of our
True Memory. It is here that we can begin the
journey to remember who We Truly Are.
Our Soul Seat carries the memory of our True
Nature. It anchors our consciousness to who We
Truly Are. It is here our memory is carried from
life time to life time, becoming more refined as we
gain greater understanding and clarity of our true
nature and perfection. The Soul Seat is located
three finger widths below the sternal notch or top
of your breast bone.
The more we connect
to
our Perfected Self the more open,
expansive, energised and vibrant this
area will be. It is then that it will shine with a
clear, golden glow and exude the scent and power of
our soul colours. The thymus, over which the Soul
Seat is located, is an important part of the immune
system which carries the body’s memory of who he or
she is, thus being able to recognise when something
does not belong to your body. This is the physical
equivalent of the Soul Seat's metaphysical function
which is to enable us to release anything which is
not truly ours.
If we do not do this we risk
disconnecting from our True Self. When this
happens, this area will be dark, clouded, heavy,
dense and constricted. When the Soul Seat is
functioning as it was designed to, when we are
connected to our self and aware of this connection,
then the Soul Seat is our strongest most powerful
guide through life. By learning to work directly
with our Soul Seat we will have a sure and certain
guide to what it is that serves us best in life.
The soul seat can be damaged, usually
through our invalidation or evaluation of our self.
A person with a damaged, clouded, or missing soul
seat is a ‘lost soul’. If this is us, then we
have lost all connection to who We Truly Are. When a
person cannot remember who they truly are, they
cannot remember their connection to God. This,
after all, is the same thing. So it is not
surprising to find that depression, hopelessness or
despair often accompanies a damaged soul seat. To
return hope and faith in our self, as well as
knowingness about the sacred purpose of life and
God, it is necessary to heal the soul seat.
To
begin working with your Soul Seat, focus on the area
where your soul seat is. Feel the energy
there. Is it clear open and vibrant? Or
is it tight, closed and dark?
As
you go through your day, pay attention to your Soul
Seat. Notice which activities assist this area
to be lighter, brighter, more relaxed and stronger,
and which activities assist it to be darker, weaker,
and more constricted. With practice you will
become increasingly aware of those things that serve
you for they will be the things that enable your
Soul Seat to lighten up and brighten up.
With further practise you will begin to feel the
energy that is your own unique essence. When
you are able to sense or perceive or feel this
energy then you will have at your disposal a
powerful tool for your path in life. For
anything that resonates with your own energy, which
is present within your Soul Seat (though initially
we sometimes have to look deeply inside the Soul
Seat in order to feel it), serves you.
Anything that strengthens your own unique energy
serves you. By living in such a way that you
are always acting to increase the strength and
vitality of your own essence you will be living in
your integrity, and accomplishing what it is that
you came here to do for the fulfilment of your soul.

KorTar Korner
Pamper yourself the
KorTar way
All of us who are walking our paths, in Grace we
hope, find ourselves from time to time stressed or
perhaps even overwhelmed by the challenges we face.
It is important for us, as it is indeed for
everyone, to remember to pamper ourselves. And
doing this over the next month, when family and the
demands of the season can become yet another
stressor, is particularly important.
So I thought I would share with you some of the ways
the KorTar products have enabled me to pamper myself
in the hopes that you may be inspired to do the same
for yourself.
The KorTar energy is a very clean one so perhaps it
is not surprising that I enjoy this energy in the
bath. Placing one or more KorTar quartz
KrysTals in your bath gives you a clean that is more
than skin deep. The resonant bath that it
produces is very soothing to the soul as well as the
body. Sometimes I place other crystals in the
bath with me as well. Not only does this give
them a great clean, but the KrysTals increase the
power of that energy within the bath and so give me
a great boost, especially if I had a KorTar obsidian
KrysTal in the bath. (Please note - it is not
a good idea to put flourite in the bath, as it can
dissolve or be affected by the water.)
Even the most natural and pure of body oils and
moisturises can sometimes contain impurities.
It is a simple fact that we live on a very toxic
planet and this is the unfortunate truth with which
we have to live. However, placing a KorTar
Healing Configuration over whatever moisturiser or
oil I wish to rub onto my body after my bath clears
whatever harsh or negative resonances there may
exist within the moisturiser. If you have not
tried this, do so! You will be amazed at the
results.
And finally, when I get a quiet moment in which I am
inspired to meditate, doing it with a KorTar
Radiance Configuration can greatly increase the
benefits. By assisting my chakras to be fully
open during the meditation they can assist me to be
fully open to the energy of the Universe or my
Higher Self at this time, enabling me to receive
deeper guidance and healing. If you wish to
experience the full effect of this you may need to
get yourself a Chakra Set, which has a radiance
configuration colour coded for resonance with each
chakra.
