FRACTOLOGY and YOUR BODY

One of the most common things I hear from many spiritual people is that they do not want to return to this planet.  Now, admittedly, this is a very difficult planet with many hard lessons to learn - or perhaps it is not the lessons that are so hard but the way we tend to learn them when we are in the physical.  This, combined with a long history on this planet of spiritual traditions speaking of the necessity to 'mortify the flesh' and 'go beyond the limitations of the body', has left many spiritual people with a poor relationship with their body.

Strangely, here at Fractology, we find that the better our relationships with our bodies are the better able we are to be 'out there and down here' at the same time.  The body is able to take care of his / her proper functions,  which are the care of the physical, while the Being or spirit, is able to take care of its proper functions, which are the balancing and accessing of energies and other metaphysical concerns.

The greater the trust between the body and the Being the greater the ability they have to work together as a team, supporting each other rather than getting in each other's way. 

If you would like to develop more trust between your body and Being you may wish to first of all work on the communication between the two of them, and then allow your body to make more of the choices that concern the physical - such as what you eat and wear, when you sleep, etc.

In our continuing understanding of dreams one of the most common dream-events that concerns people is that of death in a dream, particularly if it is the death of a loved one.  Yet this is not a bad dream, indeed, it is one of the best dreams.

If we buy into death in our dreams as being a negative thing it is simply that we are making a dualistic judgement of it - making it wrong.  Dreams, remember, speak to us in symbolic language.  Death is a symbol of transformation because it is through death that we transform into another level of existence. 

Death in a dream is a very positive sign.  It means that we have undergone a major transformation.  How we treated the death in the dream can also tell us how we are adapting to the transformation - are we resisting to it or surrendering to it?  Are we gracefully allowing ourselves to move on?

The person in the dream who died is simply a symbol of the aspect of ourselves that underwent the transformation.  If the person was the same sex as ourselves then they are a symbol of our conscious minds; if they are the opposite sex then they are a symbol of our subconscious minds.  So now think of three qualities or characteristics of the person.  That is what will define what aspect of you the dream is speaking of - whether known or unknown.

This kind of dream is generally what I call a 'well done' dream.  Such a transformation means you have completed some, possibly major, cycle in your life and path.

Feeling emotionally taxed?

At present we are in the middle of an intense transition as the energy from the last shift, the critical mass reached on the emotional level, is falling through the levels of consciousness and beginning to affect more people.  The level of fear around the planet intensified and is still being felt in many parts of the world.  This is having an intense effect on people who are not even consciously aware of what is happening around the globe.   It is making everyone more prone to being affected by fear, because that resonance is still within the collective consciousness. 

The collective consciousness has not yet fully  moved beyond fear to the point where it is centred on love and is able to release the fear that is being generated.  Not all of this fear is being generated by man, his wars and especially his 'war on terror' which is producing a lot of terror.  Some of the fear is being produced by the very intense weather we have been having lately causing hurricanes and floods, fire and earthquakes and other events that man has little control over.  It is this lack of control that generates much of the fear.  When there is something that is beyond our control the only thing we can do is surrender to it.  I was reminded of this just the other day when someone I knew had a car accident.  They blew out a tire and lost all control - yet they were quite calm, surrendering to what would be.  So of course they emerged from a totalled car unscathed.  It is this state of being able to move in harmony with what we cannot control that epitomises grace, the kind of grace that enables us to live in the world as we would.  It is this grace that this year's Wesak retreat is focused on.

Nutrition for the Energy Worker

It is important to be able to work with both our physical body, as well as our spiritual self, in working with energy. There are two main systems in our bodies which are affected by increasing levels of energy; the nervous system and the kidneys. 

The nervous system is the system that transmits energy in a physical form.  When we access increasing levels or higher frequencies of energy there are five main changes in the nervous system.

1. there is an increased voltage or intensity within the nervous system as more signals are transmitted

2. there is an increased sensitivity to the signals being transmitted

3. there is a change in the frequency of the signals being transmitted

4. there is an increase activity is some areas of the nervous system, most notably around the hippocampal areas (between the pituitary and the pineal glands)

5. there is a re-orientation or change of connections between the nerves, or new connections made.

All of these effects mean the nervous system is having increasing demands placed upon it.  If the nervous system is not supported nutritionally to deal with this stress then signs of inflammation will appear. 

The kidneys are the keepers of our physical energy.  It is our kidney energy which, in many ways, determines what is loosely termed our constitution. Each and every time we do energy work we are drawing on our kidney energy.  The more aligned our bodies are with what we are doing metaphysically the less of a drain we will experience.  But no matter how aligned our intentions and our bodies become there will always be an effort experienced within our kidneys and it is not easy to replace kidney energy once it is lost.

What is the Wesak evolution?

We are all spiritual, mental, emotional and physical Beings.  So changes, especially major changes, come to us through those same levels; they filter down to us spiritually, mentally, emotionally before finally reaching us physically.  This goes for us as individuals, and it also applies to changes to the collective consciousness.  The Wesak process is the assistance given to the evolution of the collective consciousness at this time of intense and crucial change for collective humanity.

Spiritually humanity made a shift at the end of 1991.  The spiritual shift that occurred at the end of '91 was because enough people in the collective consciousness has made a choice for a more spiritual way of life, outlook and consciousness that it became inevitable that the rest of the collective would be influenced by it.  The resistance to this change expressed itself in 1992 in the First Gulf War. 

Mentally humanity made a shift at the end of 1998.  1999 was always going to be a difficult year because of the psychological effects of the end of the millennium.  However, the collective consciousness being challenged to make some new choices on the mental level increased the mental intensity of this time.  Generally those who are a little more aware of energy will experience / feel the energy and shifts occurring before they reach critical mass.  They therefore have the greatest ability to influence the outcome of the shift because they can choose to assist the shift or attempt to send the energy in another direction.  However, after critical mass has been reached those who have been unaware of it up until that point will become affected - which is why there is often a great deal of resistance just before or after the point of critical mass.

Emotionally humanity made a shift at the end of 2006.  The wave of change reached critical mass on the emotional level on 26th December.  Human consciousness is deeply affected by emotional energy so we are now in the middle of an intense transition.  Like all shifts in consciousness, it is a choice.  On an emotional level this is a choice to operate from fear (which generally drives us to control or suppress that which we are afraid of) or from unconditional love (which enables us to connect to all things and understand how they all work together so we can cooperate with them in a more constructive endeavour).

Physically humanity is due to make the shift at the end of 2012.  All the prophecies of the end of time occurring at this point are because the wave of change is due to hit critical mass at this time.  I believe that there are sufficient aware people around the planet who are willing to clear not just their spiritual, mental and emotional bodies but their physical bodies as well so that the choice will be a positive choice.  This is the end-point of the current shift of evolution.  It is not, however, the point at which it will be fully manifested.  This is just the point at which the choice for the manifestation will occur.

Psychic First Aid

The primary thing we will notice in a psychic emergency is that the person has lost their normal energetic responsiveness and level of energies.  Psychic emergency or distress is when there is a loss of energy sufficiently severe to effect the physical, most commonly the nervous system.  The nervous system is drained of the biochemical elements that make it able to function, especially those elements that are used in energetic or psychic functioning.

When performing energetic or psychic work there is intense activity in the brain and some areas of the spinal cord. Glycogen is the fuel of the brain and spinal cord, or central nervous system.  This intense activity uses up a great deal of the glycogen available.  If the effort is sustained or more intense than the person's system can handle the reserves of glycogen can be drained, threatening a nutritional collapse.  With this intense activity the neurotransmitter most used is noradrenalin.  Its reserves can also be drained by a too-long sustained or more intense psychic activity.  This can threaten an energetic collapse similar, though more intense, than the energetic collapse experienced with adrenal exhaustion (such as when we have been putting in a sustained effort for some intense reason and then we no longer need to - it is then we truly feel how exhausted we have become). 

Apart from psychic exhaustion psychic or energetic first aid may be needed at times of energetic or psychic trauma.  When this occurs proper functioning becomes disrupted due to trauma to the energetic or subtle structures of the body.

Fate versus Choice

The Law of Free Will is THE spiritual law.  But what does this mean?  And how does fate or destiny fit into this?  This is a major philosophical question and in the end everyone needs to find what serves themselves in the way of belief in this area.  Here, I can only share what I have come to know.

The Law of Free Will means we are all free to choose - choose everything.  Choose what we be, what we do, and what we have.  We may not be fully conscious of that choice, and sometimes, when what we have ended up with does not look / feel / sound like anything we may want, then it is hard to accept that.  Yet if we didn't create it, if it is not a result of our own choices, then it means that someone or something else is controlling our paths in life.  And that I cannot believe.

The problem is that we are not always aware of all of our choices.

So what we put down to fate, destiny, or the result of the choices or actions of others are simply due to choices we have made for ourselves that we don't remember.  These may have been choices that we made in another lifetime and have forgotten about so we have not yet changed them - such choices stay with us in our subconscious mind and continue to affect the way our lives manifest until we change them.  The choices may have been ones we took on from someone else, knowingly or unknowingly, yet it was OUR choice to take them on.  We can always choose to let go of them.  Or the choices may have been ones we made before we came into this lifetime, for reasons to help us on our soul path.  Such choices are often the ones that we call 'fated'.

Sometimes these choices may now seem like ones that we would not have possibly made.  Who, after all, would choose to be with an abusive family?  Or choose to be born with some disability?  Or choose to have a start in life that left many scars on many levels?  I believe that sometimes, in spirit, we are so eager to learn the lessons we need to learn to grow on our soul path we are perhaps not so careful as to HOW we learn the lessons.  Perhaps this is because we know our spirits can never be truly harmed.  Or perhaps this is because we don't realise just how hard learning those lessons can be in the physical.  But whatever it is, I believe that we choose them.

And the great news about that, whether it was our choice or our destiny, it means we are also free to choose again.  For what is a lesson, if not a choice?
