Festive Thoughts

This is always an interesting time of year. It is a time when I hear many people who don't normally think about such things considering what is spirituality, as compared to religion.  The Christmas festival as we know it today was superimposed on the old Winter Solstice festival, which was the festival in which the old solar king was sacrificed and a new one anointed.  It was the time of year when the days began to lengthen and, although food was growing more scarce, we could look forward to a renewal of life.

The christians moved their celebration of the birth of Christ to his date in order to identify Christ with the solar king and to direct energy into their rituals rather than the older ones.  It was, as much as anything else, a marketing exercise.  Add to that the fact that we live in the southern hemisphere so this is our summer solstice, and what significance has this season for us?

Religion is about following a certain protocol that has been established by someone else.  Spirituality is, above all else, a parth towards who We Truly Are, a path of self-realisation or self-discovery.  So, in the end, as with all spirituality, we have to make our own choice what this season means for us.

For me, this season is still one of renewal.  It is what I have chosen it to signify for me.  Each year it feels as though the time between the solstice festival and the new year is 'null time', that is time that has very little intention held for it by the world at large. This, therefore, becomes the perfect time for me to acknowledge all I have achieved in the last year and to sit down and write our my list of intentions for the new year.  Having this list ready for the dawn of the New Year celebrations feels very important to me and my path.

This is also a time of ritual.  It is a time when many people, feeling this need, go to church though they may not do so at any other time during the year.  For myself, I still observe a little ritual that I was taught by my mother when I was very young (and still very Catholic in those days!).  I light a candle in the window on the night of Christmas Eve.  The significance of this, I was told, is to say that I would give Joseph and Mary a bed for the night if they had knocked on my door.  Now, of course, the likelihood of that happening in this day is very, very slight.  However, the intention, as always, is what is important.  And the intention?  It is to remind myself of the old laws of hospitality, and to hold an open heart, and to remember that all those I meet, whether it is obvious to me or not, are God, in one form or another.

This is just a short newsletter with some very important messages for this season.  Wishing you all the best, and many blessings for your season and that all your blessings may be made new in the new year, Catherine Wilkins

Festive Cheer for One

If you are going to be spending this season alone this year, or if you're going to be spending it with family but wish you were spending it alone,  then find a ritual of your own to acknowledge and rejoice in what this time of year means for you.  Buy yourself a present.  You can even wrap it up for yourself, if you want, so you get to 'open' it on the festive day.  Organise something celebratory for food, though without too much preparation.  A bottle of bubbly and some fresh seafood can do the trick.  And above all, remember to acknowledge yourself as a creator of your own life.  Acknowledge yourself for the many gifts you have given yourself over all the years of your life, and all the years to come.

Festive 2007:

The Culmination of The Turning

For those of you who have been reading this newsletter, or who have participated in the Wesak process, you will be aware that the wave of change moving through the collective consciousness is due to hit critical mass at the end of this year.  It seems that the actual moment will be just before 4 o’clock in the afternoon (Sydney, Australia, time) of December 26th.  This will make the festive season this year particularly powerful emotionally.

What that means for each and every one of us is that December 25th will be an emotional turning point, with the completion of it occurring on Boxing Day. So, remember to BREATHE, flow acceptance and do your best to keep yourself centred on joy and peace.

Many of us have been receiving many emotional challenges as the wave has moved deeper into the emotional level. Hopefully these challenges have now been completed in which case you will find this festive season very affirming for the new peace in your heart.  Any incomplete challenges will be brought into sharp focus so that they may be completed on Boxing Day.

Remember, however, that the spiritual year is from Wesak to Wesak, which occurs during the 1st new moon in May. (The religious Wesak occurs during the 1st full moon but that has a different function.)  This means that the Year of the Turning will continue into 2007, as the changes complete themselves.

‘Critical mass’ means that a change has reached such a point that the rest of it is inevitable. What this means for the collective consciousness is that those who are a little more aware, or a little more sensitive have made the shift the energy of the change is asking for, while those who are perhaps not so aware have yet to make the shift.

It has been estimated that it takes only 5% of the population to make a shift for a society to ‘tip’ into a new way of being.  This makes more sense when we consider the work of people such as David Hawkins who wrote Power vs.Force.  He highlighted for us what we knew instinctively, that those with more conscious awareness had more effect on the collective consciousness.

Over the next couple of months there will be a lull in the intense emotional pressure many of us have been feeling.  This is because we have become more complete with our emotions and so can handle the emotional energy coming through and it will take a couple of months for the emotional energy to build up further to the point where it will begin to effect those who are perhaps less aware or sensitive. That is, the rest of the collective consciousness (the 95%) will begin to feel the effects of the wave of change around the end of February.  At that time the emotional energy will become even more intense as those who have, as yet, received no training in how to handle emotional incompletions are forced to deal with them.  This means that from the end of February to Wesak 2007 we will all have to keep focused on maintaining our own emotional energy, despite the emotional incompletions of those around us.

THE POWER OF THE HOLOGRAM

The Fractology Practitioner Training is the most powerful method for a person to become who They Truly Are yet it takes, on average, 5 years to complete.  For many of us this is a huge commitment in time and although the rewards are truly worth it for many people it is a daunting task.

The Power of the Hologram is the second most powerful way to learn how to become who You Truly Are and it will give you a ‘toolbox’ to work with to continue to grow in that direction, whatever that is for you.  This powerful weekend workshop grew out of Catherine Wilkins’ research over the last 3 years, in which she was seeking for a way to assist those who did not wish to do the entire Practitioner Training to yet gain some of its most important spiritual benefits.

Being who You Truly Are has many benefits.  It assists you on your path, helps you understand your purpose, gives you certainty of Being, fulfillment, satisfaction and all the benefits of a wider understanding as you experience yourself as the aspect of God that you are.  And in terms of the current changes moving through the planet it enables you to fulfill your part in them with greater grace and ease.

This workshop will be run in Sydney in the new year.  We greatly encourage you to attend.

If you have Fractology news to include in the next newsletter please email or send it to us.
